Sisterhood High Holiday Memorial Book Fundraiser

This booklet is distributed to all members of the congregation on Yom Kippur morning.

The High Holiday Book gives you an opportunity to honor or memorialize 

your loved ones.


For EACH PERSON you wish to honor or memorialize, 

please send a $5.00 contribution. 
For example, "In honor of Dylan and Adam Cohen"

equals TWO names and the donation requested is $10.00.


To contribute to the dedication page, the requested donation is $5.00

to include your family name for    

example, by "Mr. And Mrs. Brad Cohen".

Synagogue Emanu-El Sisterhood 
Rosh Hashanah Apples & Honey Fundraiser

 It is a Rosh Hashanah tradition to dip apples in honey to usher in the New Year.

Sweeten the New Year by ordering a gift bag containing
apples, honey and a special treat for your family and friends. 

These gift bags are $10.00 each.  
Each bag will be delivered on Sunday, September 29th, in time for Rosh Hashanah. 

Deliveries made to Charleston City and East Cooper only. 
Any other orders may be picked up at the synagogue.


Checks should be made payable to Sisterhood Emanu-El.

Apples & Honey Form



In order to prepare our hearts for the High Holy Day season, 
it is traditional to meet prior to Rosh Hashanah.


Please join us with our KKBE friends at Emanu-El on Saturday, September 21st at 8:30PM for Havdallah, Dessert, and teachings by Rabbis Rosenbaum and Alexander.


A brief Selihot service follows the program.

I need your help to make this year's High Holidays ushering a success. To everyone who ushered last year, I want to Thank You Again. 


This year the Erev of Rosh Hashanah is Sunday September 29th with the first two days of Rosh Hashanah being Monday September 30th and Tuesday October 1st. Erev of Yom Kippur is Tuesday October 8th and Yom Kippur is Wednesday October 9th. With out your support services would be chaotic.
