The Charleston Jewish community is excited to join 51 other communities across the country as a Life & Legacy partner.

Charleston Life & Legacy represents a shared commitment by local agencies and congregations to work together to secure a more vibrant Jewish future. The Charleston Jewish Federation, working on behalf of the Jewish Endowment Foundation of Greater Charleston, is proud to administer this program to the greater Charleston community.

Each one of us has the power to create a legacy gift that will benefit the organizations that are most important to us. Your gift will benefit the endowment for your organization(s) every year, in perpetuity, long after your lifetime, for generations to come. You can make this commitment through a Letter of Intent (LOI) to remember your Jewish causes in your will, estate plan, or by beneficiary designation.

Synagogue Emanu-El's Life and Legacy coordinator is Ron Olinsky .

For more information, including FAQs, please see the Charleston Life & Legacy website.

To sign up for the program, please complete this form and return to the synagogue office in care of Life & Legacy.

At weekday minyan I see the names of the people we are remembering - I don’t know them, I can imagine their faces but know they are part of my Jewish family. At synagogue, I see the faces of the children. I don’t know their names, I can think of what their names may be but know they are part of my Jewish family. I give to the Life and Legacy program for my Jewish family.  -Roxann and Michael Spandorfer
