Mezuzah Hanging and House Blessing

Have you moved into a new home? Do you have doorposts that don’t have mezuzot?

It’s considered a mitzvah to hang a mezuzah (an ornament with a small scroll containing the words of the Shema) on most of our homes’ doorposts. Rabbi Ravski would be pleased to come to your home to help you hang your mezuzot with proper blessings. This occasion can be simple and private, or more elaborate if you choose.

Please be in touch with the Rabbi Ravski if you’re interested in adding a Jewish flavor to your home.

The Sisterhood Emanu-El Gift Shop, in the hallway of the synagogue, has a wide variety of mezuzot from which you can select.  Contact the Sisterhood or the Office for more information or to look at the collection.
