Getting the New Year off to a Great Start
We have now reached the relaxing and enjoyable time following the High Holy Days: the days of Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret and Simhat Torah. A time to relax and enjoy time in the Sukkah with friends and family. Men’s Club members will enjoy our Beer and Burgers in Sukkah on Monday, October 9th, at 6 PM. The Men’s Club of St. Marks United Methodist has been invited to join us that evening. It will be our first Spirit Night of the New Year and the topic will be finding value in volunteerism.
Other upcoming events:

  • October 15th Men's Club/Sisterhood rescheduled Paid up Brunch
  • October 15th the Sukkah will be taken down
  • December 3rd Men's Club will have a grilling team in Jews, Brews, and 'Ques

May we all be blessed in the New Year.

One Meal a Day

That is what many of our Jewish Brothers are experiencing in the Abayudayan region of Uganda due to the current famine. Our Men’s Club is a partner with the Seaboard Region of Jewish Men’s Club in helping them. The Abayudayan women hand-knit Kippot that many Men's Clubs are selling for $18 each and 100% of the money goes to support our Jewish Brothers and Sisters in Uganda. The money helps with food, education, Hadassah School and maintaining their Jewish Life. Please support our Tikum Olam project to secure their future. Call Charles Richards at 843-452-4429 or the Synagogue office 843-571-3264 to place your order.
Thank you for your support.
