The massacre in the Tree Of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh continues to haunt us. Like you, I watch the news and the funerals feeling the profound sense of loss. Looking back and looking forward, comfort and solace continue to come from our community.

8th Annual Kosher BBQ Cook-off:  January 13

Synagogue Emanu-El will host its 8th annual Kosher BBQ Cook-off on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 3p-6p at the synagogue, 5 Windsor Drive in West Ashley.  Not only is the best barbecue in the South to be found here, but there are also cash prizes, tasty beverages, and entertainment.
