Shir Ami Ensemble: A Concert from the Jewish Diaspora

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMSynagogue Emanu-ElShir Ami musicians will presents a program of works representing the varied voices of the Jewish diaspora, from the composers of the St Petersburg School in pre-Soviet Russia through the Shoah and beyond. These pieces include beautiful settings of Yiddish Song by Leo Zeitlin, cabaret songs which remind us of Hollywood's golden age, and serious concert music by composers who perished in the Holocaust.
