Sunday, December 12, 2021 8 Tevet 5782

12:00 PM - 1:00 PMvia Zoom

Join your Synagogue Emanu-El friends as we travel back in time to an event that changed Jewish and world history. Our guides are Lori Banov Kaufmann, author of the critically-acclaimed historical fiction novel Rebel Daughter (Random House) and Prof. Jonathan Price, a world-renowned scholar at Tel Aviv University. They will discuss their more than ten-year collaboration to bring a 2,000 year-old love story and the dramatic destruction of Jerusalem to life. Although she lives in Israel, Lori grew up in Charleston and has deep roots in the Emanu-El family.
