The year is 1978, The Israel/Egypt Camp David Accords are signed, Jack Nicklaus wins another Open, Stayin' Alive is rocking the Billboard charts, the Yankees win the 22nd World Series, Nick Kroll and Andy Samburg are born, Halloween, Superman, and Animal House hit theaters, and our congregations moves to it's new building in West Ashley.
Since then a lot of things have changed, but one thing that has remained constant is the shingles on our building. We are very fortunate to have gotten over double the life expectancy out them; what should have lasted only 20 years, made it 47! In honor of 47 wonderful years in this building, we are kicking off a capital campaign to remove and replace the falling shingles and update the aesthetic inside and out.
