Outdoor Minyan Protocol

Outdoor afternoon minyan will start July 7th and be held on Tuesday Nights based on Synagogue Emanu-El Level 4 precautions. The following are guidelines to be followed:

  • Participants must email Daphne at to attend and is limited to 12 participates.
  • Participants must wear a face mask.
  • Participants must space themselves 10 feet apart or more with the exception of individuals who are from the same household. The ground will be marked with a circle.
  • All participants must sanitize their hands upon arrival.
  • Anyone who feels different than normal, sick or has a fever shall not attend.
  • People who are at risk according to CDC guidelines, or are uncomfortable attending gatherings should consult a physician to make a decision on attendance.
  • The building will be closed, please bring your own hydration. Bathrooms will not be available.
  • Guests or anyone who has traveled out of state may not attend unless they have self-quarantined for 2 weeks.
  • Siddurim will not be available. We will have Siddur Sim Shalom excerpts for each service available as a PDF that the synagogue will send to you upon request. Alternatively, you may purchase a Siddur Sim Shalom for weekdays from the Rabbinic Assembly website if you do not already have a personal copy.
  • Minyan will be canceled in the event of rain. We will text those registered for the daily minyan in the event of cancellation.
