Men's Club All-American BBQ - July 6th

Join us for an All-American BBQ prepared by your Men's Club

Services will begin at 6:00pm, then we will have dinner with hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings.

The World Wide Wrap was held on Sunday, February 4th at 9AM with Minyan and a Continental breakfast.

The Junior Jam took place on February 10th at 10:45AM in the Chapel. Junior Jam is a new youth service for 3rd - 6th graders where we celebrated Shabbat with prayers, games, learning and songs!

Our Purim Celebration on February 28th started with Tot Purim, followed by a 5:30PM Minyan. Later, we had Breakfast for Dinner followed by the Megillah Reading and "Drawing of the Lots". We finished out the evening with Hamentaschen & Ice Cream!  See you next Purim!

Friday, January 19th – FNL New Member Shabbat

We  formally welcomed our new families and individuals who have become part of our synagogue family within the past year with a Shabbat Dinner catered by 2 Bubbies & A Schlepper


Monday, January 15th – The MLK Parade

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday, January 15th, 2108 to represent the Jewish community in the YWCA's 46th Annual MLK Day Jr Federal Holiday Parade! We are proud to march every year to support full equality and dignity for every member of our society. Despite the unseasonably cold weather turnout was strong.

Sunday, December 17th – Chanukah in the Square

We had a great time celebrating Chanukah with all of Charleston at the Chanukah in the Square event in Marion Square.


Friday, Dec. 15th – Men's Club Chanukah Friday Night Live

The Men's Club hosted our Friday Night Live event with a Chanukah Baked Potato Bar dinner after our evening services.

Tuesday, Dec. 12 – The Night of Giving

On the first night of Chaunkah, we gathered as a community at Publix to shop for the Kosher Food Pantry. We came equipped with lists of the most need items and we made sure to get plenty of everything. It was an incredible night of Tikkun Olam as we gave back to the community. Sunday, Dec. 3 – 7th Annual Kosher BBQ Cook-off

Our annual Kosher BBQ Cook-off was a huge success and we had a blast hanging out with everyone and eating a lot of delicious food. Check out the full gallery of photos from the event!

Shababa at Emanu-El

Karina Zilberman, of New York City, joined us here to lead us in a weekend of music filled Shabbat fun. We engaged in prayer and holiness as a community and experienced something truly special!

Men's Club Comedy Night

Comedian Saul Sloman, of Atlanta, Georgia, joined us at Emanu-El for an evening of Yiddish style comedy. We enjoyed a fantastic night of laughing and community with everyone!
