Updates - March 2022

March 6, 2022
Dear Emanu-El Community:

Over the past few weeks the Covid Task Force has followed the trending medical data and discussed changes that would be appropriate based on this data. We are pleased to share that, due to recent changes in CDC guidelines and a declining virus positivity rate, the Task Force has approved changes in our protocols to reflect the improving situation. While this is an exciting moment after 2 years of the pandemic, we also want to stress-- as we did when protocols were relaxed last summer--that every member and guest at Emanu-El should take appropriate precautions based on their own personal health needs.

Below are Updated Covid Protocols, which will go into effect on Monday, March 7th. Most notably, we are excited to share that these new protocols will allow the return of Kiddush Luncheon, which will kick-off on Saturday, March 12th.

We want to thank members of the Covid Task Force especially, who have devoted much time and expertise over these past 24 months. They are deserving of our appreciation.

If you have questions or feedback please feel free to contact us by email. Thanks as always for your support.

Dear Religious School Families,
In accordance with CCSD, Synagogue Emanu-El Religious School will be mask optional for all students during Religious School hours (9-12:30 on Sundays) effective this Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Teachers will continue to wear a mask until the entire class is unmasked.
As always, if your child is showing any symptom of being sick, please keep them at home.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation in getting to this point.
If you have any questions, please be in touch.
