This fascinating movie follows Emperor Constantine’s vision of the cross as a sword and symbol of power to

the rise of genocidal anti-Semitism, to modern day wars sparked by religious extremism.

It also exposes how some evangelicals are proselytizing at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado and

the impact this has on Jewish military recruits.

This weekend will reinforce the idea that every Jew is responsible for one another.

This Saturday morning, Judi Corsaro will deliver the d’var Torah on behalf of the Charleston Jewish Federation. This vital organization helps fund so many of our Jewish institutions and programs here, as well as around the world. We will be reminded of our responsibility to keep the organization as a mainstay in our community.

And on Sunday, we will gather at KKBE at 3:00PM for our community’s annual Yom HaShoah observance. The program, which concludes with a silent march and a brief ceremony at our Holocaust Memorial at Marion Square, will remind us of our duty to tell the stories of the Shoah for generations to come.

I cannot believe that we are a little over a week away from the competition. As the time is winding down, I want to extend a challenge to my fellow dancers.
