PROGRAMMINGIt's easy to make friends at Emanu-El through its many ongoing programs. These include participation in services, hosting annual Scholar-In-Residence and Artist-In-Residence weekends, Shabbat dinners, and family events focused around the Jewish Holidays. Members of Synagogue Emanu-El play an integral role in the activities of the Jewish community and the Charleston community-at-large. Most of the above events are held in our large social hall, which can seat 150 diners. The facilities include kosher kitchens and are available to members of the congregation for Simchas and special events. Adult EducationThe Synagogue also sponsors a variety of adult study programs, including Hebrew instruction, mini-courses and in-depth study on a wide range of topics.
